After my bicycle trip last week I figured by now some tulips would be open. I was right. Some rows of tulips were showing colors, but many others were still very green. I suspect that with the current temperatures, next week everything will be open.

The past week was unbelievably bad, weatherwise. Today for the first time in quite a few days we actually saw some sun. I decided to go for another bicycle ride to see how the tulip fields were doing. Unfortunately it seems like the heads are already being cut off on most places. Luckily I found one field where this wasn't the case yet.

This weekend we saw some nice weather. It wasn't warm, but the sun was shining and the sky was quite blue. I went for a bicycle ride today and made a quick stop on Eemmeerdijk. The water of Eemmeer was full of boats in all shapes and sizes. Because it was so full, it was very hard to take a picture of a boat without any other boats in the frame.
