Ever since I drove home one night on the Eemmeerdijk, I wanted to go there during a sunset. The sky was beautiful and the windmills gave a very nice view. It has been a few months, but finally I took the bicycle and went there yesterday evenening. I was just in time to take about 180 pictures in the one and a half hour was there.
Read full article 1 commentDuring a cold afternoon we went to the Oostvaardersplassen, expecting to take pictures of red deer. Last year we also went there around the same time. This time however, the path thourgh the forest was still closed due to a rest period for the red deer.
Read full article 1 commentLast thursday a more red then usual sky was expected, due to the ash, high in the sky, from the Icelandic volcano eruption. Compared to a week earlier the Oostvaardersdijk was full of people who had decided to take pictures of this natural phenomenon. As soon as the sun was not visible anymore, everybody was gone, they've probably never heard of the golden hour.
