After my brother had found some Red deer at the Oostvaardersplassen a couple of weeks ago, I decided to try my luck. Because there're no leaves on the trees in the winter they were easy to find. That was the easy part.

Yesterday I went with my brother for another walk through some woods at the Oostvaardersplassen. Within minutes we saw the first Red deer. I managed to take about 150 pictures, but most of the time they had heard us before we even saw them.
Read full article 2 commentsDuring a cold afternoon we went to the Oostvaardersplassen, expecting to take pictures of red deer. Last year we also went there around the same time. This time however, the path thourgh the forest was still closed due to a rest period for the red deer.
