Ever since I drove home one night on the Eemmeerdijk, I wanted to go there during a sunset. The sky was beautiful and the windmills gave a very nice view. It has been a few months, but finally I took the bicycle and went there yesterday evenening. I was just in time to take about 180 pictures in the one and a half hour was there.

Because the longest day of the year was already two months ago, the sun went down in a very nice spot. I was able to create quite a few silhouettes, of both the few boatd and the reed. I also included the windmills in a lot of pictures. When it was starting to get darker I was also able to do another thing on my todo-list. I took pictures of the windmills with a low shutterspeed, getting nice silky effects.
